Spanakopita Kouzina Theatro

Learn how to make authentic Greek spanakopita completely from scratch.

We begin with the dough — measuring, mixing, kneading, and preparing it together. Then we make the filling from fresh ingredients and learn how the flavors come together.

Next comes the heart of the class: hand-rolling traditional phyllo dough. You’ll learn the technique of rolling and stretching the dough by hand using just one traditional tool — a wooden rolling pin — until your phyllo becomes thin, wide, and ready for your spanakopita.

You’ll build your own 9-inch spanakopita, layer by layer, and we’ll bake it together.

Along the way, you’ll also taste our kitchen with traditional Greek appetizers, our freshly baked spanakopita served as the main course, and a Greek dessert to finish. Everything is prepared with carefully selected ingredients and Papa Spyros Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

But this class is about more than following a recipe.

You’ll learn the techniques, understand the process, work with your own hands, and discover just how much you are capable of making yourself.

And yes — be ready to test yourself.

By the end of the experience, you’ll take home your freshly baked spanakopita, step-by-step instructions, and your Certified Spanakopita Maker certificate.

Our hope is that you leave with more than a dish. We hope you leave with confidence, a new skill, a good story to tell, and a tradition you can bring home and share with the people you love.
